Starting point

A new TV channel for energy and infrastructure

ENERGY TV is a planned thematic channel focused on energy. It builds on the media base of pHmedia and on the idea that energy needs explanation, data, graphics and news-style storytelling.

The project is still in preparation. That matters technically too: even at this stage, the workflow is designed so content can be delivered quickly, automatically and in a form suitable both for the general public and a more specialised audience.

Assignment

A channel with rich graphics and data inputs

ENERGY TV is meant to bring the world of energy closer to a broad audience. That includes reports from power plants, technology centres, research sites and major infrastructure projects, supported by graphics, data and explanatory context.

  • graphic explanation of data and energy trends,
  • EPG and programme layers for fast publishing,
  • automated playout workflow,
  • distribution across web and broadcast platforms,
  • integration with editorial and data sources,
  • operation with a small local technical footprint.
SAT Plus solution

Automation, graphics and distribution workflow

The delivery is based on content planning, playlist creation, graphic layers and automated playout. Integration with data sources is also important so that topics can be explained with up-to-date information.

As with our other clients, we rely on redundancy, supervision and the ability to run most operational steps remotely. That is essential for a project that mixes news-style content with educational material.
